Object 06 / 07, ST19.2 Cabinet

Built from aluminium profiles and patterned glass reclaimed from old buildings, the sideboard is assembled from a material once found in interior doors across Eastern Europe. Its floral relief was pressed into the surface decades ago. Removed from that context, the glass keeps its ornament and its history, and becomes the surface of a contemporary object.

Crafted from aluminium profiles and reclaimed glass sourced from old Romanian houses, the cabinet transforms fragments of architectural heritage into a contemporary object, where memory and materiality remain visible in every detail.

Assembled from chandelier shades recovered from apartments built under the communist regime, the lamp gathers scattered fragments into a single vertical form. What once hung dispersed across a ceiling is collected and stacked, its original ornament held in a new order.
